Piscataqua Press can help. There are many “pay-to-publish” outfits out there online. Some are great, some are really, really not. It’s a gamble. We, on the other hand, are real people in a real bookstore. We started this business because we had seen too many independent authors get a bad deal or a bad product. Again, our mission is to make your book the best it can be.

We use the latest print-on-demand publishing technology to produce a high-quality trade paperback or hardcover that is indistinguishable from traditional offset printing. This provides numerous advantages: lower up-front costs, a book that never goes out of print, and easy fulfillment from anywhere in the United States through Ingram Book Group, the largest book distributor in the country. You retain sole rights to your work. The whole process takes about 90 days.

We welcome your inquiries at info@riverrunbookstore.com. Simply send us the first ten pages of your work as a Word document, and we will follow up with you within a few days. If we accept your manuscript, it must be thoroughly proofread (although your sample manuscript need not be). We can recommend freelance proofreaders to you if necessary.
